Bill Pape's 10-year-old Mixed Up unleashed an incredible late rally through traffic under jockey Danielle Hodson to edge Red Letter Day in the $100,00 Marion DuPont Scott Colonial Cup at Springdale Race Course in Camden, S.C., on Saturday Nov. 21, 2009. The win was Mixed Up's second Grade 1 (the AP Smithwick at Saratoga being the other) of the year, and all but assures the Jonathan Sheppard-trainee of an Eclipse Award.
